November 14th A special day in our house!

I shared earlier that we have a very busy Fall.  November 14th would be a day that is very full!  It is David, Doug (David's twin brother), and Adolfo's (my bro-in-law) birthday!  I am thankful for these 3 men in my life.  They are all awesome people.  I love my hubby for a million reasons you don't care about knowing and I won't bore you.  Let's just leave it at I love him....a lot.  My brother-in-law Doug is an awesome person.  It is so fun to be with him and David together to see their differences and to see their commonalities.  It really is awesome.  I love my other brother-in-law Adolfo (aka AD, Fofo, Tio) because he is so perfect for my sis.  I mean, I know he is a great guy, fun to be around and him and my hubby are awesome together.  But I love him most for the way he loves my sis.  Awesome dude that man is!  Love all 3 of you men

This year I made one of David's favorite meals which included chocolate pie.  I used to think it was strange that someone didn't want cake on their birthday, but now I just roll with it.  If the man wants pie, pie he gets!

Snow..again

I know I've already posted about our first snow day, but those pictures in the snow are just so cute!  Here is our last snow day that we had.  We had some awesome snow fall and got to go to the park close to our house for a little bit of sledding.  Fun times

Oh Baby

Don't let the title throw you off!! No news here to share.  I mentioned in the last post that I did a couple baby showers  recently.  This post is for those of you who like to see cutsie, crafty, fun stuff.  It was fun doing both of the baby showers.  One was for a boy & one for a girl....the showers were 3 weeks apart.  Fun times, fun times! The first shower was at my house.  It was for baby Carson Baxter who decided to make an early appearance in the world.  He was 5 weeks early but is doing great and is growing great.  The next one is for baby Autumn Coombs who will be arriving sometime in January.  That shower was at a baby's grandmothers house.  They both turned out great.  Here are a few pictures of what we did:

Fall Happenings - Halloween

Hey y'all...it's fall!  Well, maybe it's closer to winter at this point, but this entry is going to be full of fall celebrations.  To say that our fall is busy is a MASSIVE understatement! You may ask, what all do you have going on?  It can't be that much.  The mayhem usually starts with my birthday on Oct. 6 then my dad's birthday followed by Halloween.  Then we move into November which we have the hubs birthday on the same day as his brother (yep...it's a twin thing) and my bro-in-law is that day too.  Then we have the boys birthday followed very closely by Thanksgiving.  OK, so now we can take a breath for about a week and then we have Mama Rach's birthday, my sister's birthday,  all the fun festivities that make up the holiday's and finally Christmas.  This year I threw in 2 baby showers at church that I did/helped with so that makes a crash course of pure craziness.  I say that it's crazy, but I wouldn't have my life any other way.  I truly love everything I do and certainly try to do it all to the best of my ability.  I will stop talking (in my head) and get on with the events.

The loot...pretty insane amount of candy. I was the most awesome mommy for letting them eat candy for breakfast a few days.  Thanks to my friend Tammy for teaching me that tad bit of parenting :) We did end up donating most of the candy to daddy's work.  They were appreciative.
